I thought of going on internet chat and social media sparingly

I spend too much time on the internet. Especially on internet chat. So I thought it would be a good idea to limit it to a couple days of the week so that it's not dominating my time and becoming my main focus. People in person should be my main focus. My RL friends and family should take priority over internet friends, even though people on the internet can become RL friends too. Though it's highly unlikely especially when they're far away. 

As for social media, I go on that less than internet chat though it's similar. Id probably not do that at all. I'm not sure if blogging is similar to social media though its a lot more wholesome than things like twitter. Generally when i blog I'm trying to provide some kind of use to people. Even though this blog is personal, it's not like posting on social media which people say is like a Skinner box(which I agree it kind of is) I'm not sure if I even understand social media that well because I dont get much use out of it anyways.
