Mostly because it annoys me and also even for someone that doesnt care much about privacy(since what can you do) Discord is especially sinister. Not only does their software act like malicious malware, they do other stuff that's creepy too that I cant articulate. This page and the following youtube video affected my decision. I only watched the video partially like half way through but it was enough to make me stop using the service all together, with what I learned from the spyware watchdog site and the Youtube video. Also what I already knew before knowing all of this.
